Ammo at Wal Mart...

That's why it's good to own firearms in a variety of calibers/gauges. The 5.56mm/9mm/12ga only gang frequently gets burned.
True enough, it's feast or famine and when ammo is plentiful take advantage of it and bow the floors in with your stockpile so you don't have to buy guns in useless cartridges like 28ga. ;). I just don't even know why that particular shotshell exists..... What is it even good for?

The 28 only exists because of competition skeet.

In reality, the 28ga has a slightly larger payload than .410. ( 3/4 vs 11/16 ). The BIG difference is the 28 us proportioned like the other "guages" vs .410 long, pencil style. This improves feeding and patterns.

Most people think of .410 a a kid gun or for recoil sensitive shooters. Actually, it is and EXPERT'S gun. A 28 ga is much better suited to kids or recoil sensitive.

The problem with being a "skeet" gun is lacking shot size selection (8s and 9s). Making the 28 a reloader, to be able to get larger shot sizes. The positive here is hulls are always top tier.

The 28 is an awesome, unappreciated gauge.
