What pistol do you like to shoot that it seems only you have?

I don't personally own it, and I wouldn't say that I "love" to shoot it (its recoil is much more than it needs to be), but I've taken a Walther P38 to the range and the guy next to me was impressed by it It has quite a bit of German "cool" to it. The most unusual pistol that has impressed me at the range in other people's hands is a Desert Eagle I saw. That thing is nasty strong lol.

Walther P1, I have yet to see another one at a range or gun store.

I belong to a small range, and rarely see anyone when I'm there. No matter what I bring down, no one has whatever I'm shooting. I love shooting my Colt Python. If anybody's there, they want to see and hold it.

Hello friends and neighbors // I don't have many semi autos but I do have a few such as the op describes.

1) Stoeger, American Eagle, Luger, .22 - - My first handgun, rarely failed to feed or eject using Federal or CCI. (Not the Erma Luger copy)

I knew the two guys teaching my S.C. CWP class and surprised them by using the Stoeger to qualify.
All fun, not my EDC but the .22 is a sweet shooter for plinking, shot a fist sized group that day.

2) 1945 ,Colt 1911A1 ,National Match, .45acp.
Just a perfect handgun.. powerful, smooth and accurate.
Not in the best of shape though.,. The Colt was holstered in a trunk from the early 1960s till I snagged/ saved it recently.
Already gets more comments than most of my other handguns and one of my lefty friends shoots it better than I do.

3) 1947, Hi Standard, HD Military, .22 ,still going strong and plink ready on any soda can out to 50yards (with a dab of glue on the rear sight and few sighting in shots).

Old or young folks enjoy shooting this jewel.
Sort of feels like a 1911 to some of them.

I've chatted with other owners on forums, but don't see one on the range.

Some surplus ammo can run 1500+ fps.
My reloads run just a tad slower at ~1350 fps.

I bought a new Springfield P9C Compact around 1990. Springfield discontinued the gun a few years later and stopped supporting it a few years after that. It is one reason i sold the gun although I was able to get parts directly from Tangfoglio. The P9C would bend the slide release shaft.

Maybe Springfield never stopped supporting the full size P9 or maybe they started to support them again.

My M1911 chambered in 38/45 Clerke gets some interest due to the little bottle neck cartridge it ejects. Otherwise, there is nothing special about this M1911.

Not a pistol, so much as cartridge. I shoot and load for 10mm. No one else, I shoot with has one. They all like it and want it. But, no one will commit to getting their own.

Another one I want someday is BHP/CZ/Witness conversion in 9x23 Win.

They were recalled by the manufacturer because of apparent safety issues -- and discontinued. If I remember correctly, the safety mechanism didn't work properly. It makes sense that you haven't seen any. Out of curiousity, I looked it up -- and here's the WIKI information:

I like off beat firearms. When I shoot my Mauser C-96 Broomhandle, or 1941 made Mauser P-08 Luger I get some chuckles at my gun club. However, when I bring out the French S.A.C.M. 1935A in 7.65 French (.32 French Longue) I get the strangest looks. I have to reload for it as ammo is really, really scarce. The Sig P210 borrowed heavily from it.

I also have a Stoeger Luger .22. I rarely shoot it anymore, but I can't remember it ever jamming! It's cheap - it was $99 new in 1977, complete with a fiberglass box and a magazine loader! Very fun to shoot. With the short toggle-action, it cycles very quickly. It's all aluminum except the barrel, and resembles a centerfire Luger quite closely.

Same here. They seem surprisingly rare, despite the fact that have been made for over 15 years now and are quite popular in the LE market in Europe.

It's a shame more folks aren't acquainted with the P99, since it is one of the finest polymer 9mm pistols ever made. It also has what is, without a doubt, the best trigger ever to grace a striker-fired pistol.

Probably my SP-01 Phantom.

I don't see too many CZ's at the range in the first place, but I've never seen another SP-01 Phantom.

I dont have any pics handy but Not many have the Coonan .357, I saw this one mentioned earlier and that is absolutely true...

I also have an AMT II .22Magnum, Most people are shocked by the little thunder gun.

In my area people wonder what the hell I'm shooting if I have my CZ-52
