I had been watching and looking around for a Ruger Super Redhawk. I had decided that the best balance for all around use was the 7 1/2" barrel model. I was hoping to sell one of my other guns to fund the purchase, but one came up for sale and I had spoken back and forth with the seller. It was the exactly what I wanted, the seller bought it new in 2008 to go deer hunting with a family member and never got out to do it. The gun had only 15 rounds through it since new and the seller didn't use it as a range gun so decided to sell it. I ended up getting it for $600, plus $30 shipping and my FFL's fee of $25. So for $655 I got what I feel is a new Super Redhawk. Am I overly happy, or do you guys think it was a good a deal as I'm thinking it was?

PS - Even though I bought it BEFORE I sold my other gun, it all worked out as someone bought the gun I had for sale a few hours after I bought the Redhawk....
