ok i some better info to what im looking for. im open to looking at any manufacture. i want a long range target rifle in 338. my max price is around $2,100.

well... just ask cuz .338 is daaaaamn expensive to just be shooting target at that range. Many cheaper, better calibers. Unless of course you just really want that caliber, then more power to you.... I'm just sayin...
 
my friend wants it in .338. im not sure if he will hunt or not. i have a budget of around 2000 and he wants if in 338.

im looking at the SAVAGE 110BA RIFLE, 338 LAPUA, 26"
 
I have built some 338 Lapuas on Remington 700's but would prefer to start with the large Savage action or just buy a Savage off the shelf. It is stretching the dimension limits of the 700 action and feeds better with a detachable magazine set up.
That being said, I could build you a Lapua on a 700 if you wish. PM me for prices and options if interested.
