1K's stupid "what's this powder good for" question of the week: Li'l Gun/AutoComp?

Lil Gun vs H110

Bangswitch and oldpapps experience matches mine, there is nothing finer in 300 Blk. I just imagine .30 Carbine is great too.
I will mention if you are using an auto powder dispenser/scale combo H110 is too fine for some and will bind up your dispenser.

Yes, H110 did not work well in my Lee Perfect powder measure. It was leaking out even though I tightened it up. My RCBS Uniflow works great with it, though.

I use Lil'Gun for 32 H&R Magnum. I was having problems achieving published velocities until I switched to it on the recommendation of some folks on this forum. I don't remember who it was, but thanks anyway!

Hmm. Just started loading for 30 Carbine with H110. Getting promising results on targets. Have some unopened Lil Gun. Is there a reason why it would be a better powder than the old standby H110 in an old but good carbine. Anyone tried a side by side comparison? Or are they so similar that it doesn't matter?

Try it and see. I don't really load .30 yet because I still have some factory to shoot. But I intend to load after I run out.

As noted above, Li'l Gun produces identical velocities to H110 loads but with significantly lower pressures. I have no idea if the apparently higher heat of the li'l gun would be an issue in .30 or not.

Try it and see. Yeah, that is what this reloading is all about. Good advice. As soon as I find that sweet spot with H110, I'll just run the same parameters using LilGun and check back in with the results.
