Just bought a Kel Tech P11. Got a great deal on it from Cabelas. They missed marked it. $224.95 . Here's my problem. The dreaded magazine rattle once the 10 rounds are loaded. Load seven, no rattle. Load more then that, can't get the rattle to go away. Read this happens to all of them online. Any Fixes available?
Mec Gar are top quality mags, but I hate the rattle, and not having the 3 extra rounds. Help, advice would be appreciated

It is annoying.

You can load 6-7 then poke a small screwdriver in through a witness hole to push a cartridge into a different position before you load the rest of the magazine. I found instructions online and it does work but you must do it every time.

I don't bother. I haven't heard it rattle in my holster as I did anything.

Reminds me of what happened to one of my buddies the day we took our induction physical. My bud carefully explained to the examining Doc how he had a rather significant heart murmur. The Doc looked him straight in the eye and said, "We'll put you in artillery unit and nobody will ever hear it".

My old PT-111 does the same thing, except that downloading the mags to just 9 instead of 10 rounds solves the problem. The mags are also Mec Gar - wonder if that's just coincidence.

There's a rattle in a fully-loaded P11 mag? Hmm.. never noticed it on mine, although I typically don't fold myself in half to put my ear next to my hip....

Doesn't always work the first time.....but I slap the back of the fully loaded magazine on my hand hard and push down the top round downward into the mag. Playing back and forth with both methods eventually stops the rattle...Sooner or later.

Some mags rattle. It doesn't impact performance. Load to capacity or capacity -1. Even the OEM mags will sometimes rattle. One way around it is to slap the mag into your palm every couple of rounds. It usually works. If it doesn't still not a big deal. Your mag will work.
