The ugly. Rossi circuit judge (can't believe I said that) in 357 mag...or 44 mag if I find a used one. I have a 16" 44 contender though so I would prefer the 357

I'm going to retire at the end of July this year and I'm going to order my self a retirement present.
A Les Baer high-polished blue 1911 in 45, no FCS, single sided safety, crowned barrel and a 3 1/2 to 4 lb. trigger.
I feel like a little kid waiting on Christmas.

Congratulations on the pending retirement. I went out in 2013 at 63 and wonder now enjoying my range time where I ever found time for work. I also enjoy my love affair with 1911 Government models as well as all the others. You will love this retirement thing. :)

For me, it's a matching pair of revolvers.

For me, it's a matching pair of revolvers.

I want a S&W Model 17 and a S&W Model 14,,,
They are the last pair of revolvers I truly have lust for.

This is the year I buy them.

I will bet that I buy another cap and ball revolver . Might run across a 357 I have to have and considering a CZ 455 17/22 lr

I want a Rugerr charger so bad I can taste it but my police state has decided we cannot have them so next up is a stainless smith snubby,I'm not really a revolver guy but being as I only have a Taurus judge wheel gun,I figure I just need a smith in the herd.

ArmaLite M-15TBN or a Windham VEX-SS is what I am thinking about now. Them powder bullets and primers.

A Ruger SR-762, I've wanted, a do it all, 308 for a while.

That may have to wait, since last year was a busy gun buying year for me, 2-handguns, 2-shotguns and one rifle. I need to chill and shoot what I have and stop acquiring.

New mfg Winchester 1873 Short Rifle in .44-40...the new one being manufactured by moruko for Winchester...love the big old caliber, especially when firing black powder loads...love the deep base of the bp boom.

Actually planning a few guns and only set on a Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt/45acp Convertible.

About 90% on a New Witness..no caliber yet but leaning 9mm.

I received both a Kel-Tec PMR-30 and a Rock Island 1911 .22TCM as Christmas gifts. They were the only two on my "next gun" list, so I probably won't buy any handguns this year — although a Ruger Shopkeeper is probably closest on the "someday" horizon.

As far as long guns go, the only one I definitely have my eye out for is a Remington 7615 Ranch Carbine. They're beautiful, but they're virtual unicorns; it has probably been at least a year since I've found one for sale, and the prices tend to run from stiff to downright silly.

I also haven't quite shaken off my irrational desire for a Chiappa Li'l Badger. Even though I have absolutely no use for one, the $170 price ($220 for in 17HMR) is tempting.

I don't know if I will be able to pull it off this year because the wife and I have a lot of expensive projects going on in the next few months. BUT if I can, I really want a 20mm (http://www.anzioironworks.com/20MM-TAKE-DOWN-RIFLE.htm). Go ahead and laugh! I know it isn't practical, I know ammo is insanely expensive, I know it's heavy. I don't care, I want it anyway :neener: !!!

I don't know…something different…maybe a BFR 45-70 revolver…or a Barrett 98B in 6.5 Creedmore…or a Big Horn Armory .500 lever rifle…or a Cabot Black Diamond 1911…or a a Jim Clark double rifle in 450-400...something that in my right mind I would never buy, but like maybe I could win the lottery…or be adopted by some Saudi Arabian sheik…or marry Angelina Jolie…or find millions of dollars of gold coins buried in my Back 40…naw…it's probably going to be a Tac Sol .22…

…sigh…

The number one thing on my wish list for 2015, is for Iowa to finally pass a bill allowing silencers. I want one for my AR.
