I just read the threat about "which state is most gun friendly". I was thinking of approaching this question from the opposite angle.

Which state in our great country has ALL of the following...

1. Open carry
2. Concealed carry allowed (Yes, include you can include states that require permits)
3. Castle doctrine
4. "Stand your ground" law
5. "No guns allowed" signs do NOT have the weight of law
6. No magazine size restriction
7. CCW (at the very least...) is allowed on church gatherings, sports gatherings, general public gatherings
8. Has a strong gun culture (people have a general positive view of gun ownership)
9. Loaded transportation of handguns in private vehicle allowed
10. No need to automatically inform LEO of the fact that you are carrying (although I would do this out of professional courtesy)

Utah, with the exception of "church gatherings" when the gathering is inside a house of worship and that particular house of worship has "no guns" signs OR has posted a notification through BCI that they don't allow guns. Anything outside the house of worship even on church property is fine.

Ohio gets you nearly all of those, maybe 8 or so out of 10.

You do need to inform an Leo if carrying concealed. Loaded handgun needs to be in a holster or secured in a car. Open carry, no problem. Strong gun culture, just not necessarily in the bigger cities.

Actually, New York State has 6 out of 10. So take that:neener:

And you can concealed carry in bars and drink.

Colorado, until the 15-round magazine limit hit last year (incidentally, you wouldn't know it existed around here since no one is enforcing it, and hardly anyone follows it).
