I don't think Beretta stopped making the the 84FS(and 85's as well), It's just that they have not been importing them to the USA. But recently, new ones have been trickling into LGS's in various parts of the country.
Bannockburn. What a beautiful Beretta! Has the one pictured been refinished? I've only seen the "black" versions. In any event, it does look fantastic!
amd6547:" ...Coles Distributing has Israeli surplus 84's pretty cheap. That's where I got mine."
I have to agree on that. I bought two for under $300 each. There was some minor wear on the frames (Cole's listed them at 85%) but I'd say they were closer to 95% after they were cleaned up and...
There is an FAQ page on all of the Beretta's on the Beretta forum website

I went looking for a used 84(owning both a 92 & 96) and found quite a few with Cole's on GunBroker. I picked one up and after a couple weeks, I ordered a second. The finish was fine but more importantly it fit like it was made for me and put rounds down range at what ever I aimed at. I had both...
WOW! Sounds like it was a great day! Would have liked to have just been a fly on the way to watch. This is what the shooting sport is all about! Having fun! You did a great job!
I've been considering slings for a while and this is the first I've seen anything from usslings. Thank You! It's exactly what I was looking for. A no nonsense piece of equipment that will in all likelihood see nothing more than range time. And going for a good(unfortunately)cause. I will be...
The Beretta has a few polymer coated parts and the trigger is most definitely NOT "plastic".
This is from the Beretta forum:

I've got a pair of Beretta 84F's that I won't part with. I also picked up a pair of Browning BDA's this fall that I have yet to fire, but may have put them on the market. Don't want to but have no choice at this time.:(
I have a pair of 84's that I'll never give up. Just too much fun to shoot! Also have a pair of BDA's that I may soon have to sell due to unforeseen events.:( Anyway, bottom line is that the 380's are great fun!:)
Also have 9mm & .40 S&W so I think I'm pretty well covered
The Beretta 86 has the tip up barrel. 8rd capacity. The 87 is a .22 variant. The 84 is a double stack(13 rd) and the 85 is a single stack(8 rd) and the 81 & 82 are .32 ACP
I've got a couple of the 84F's and a pair of the Browning BDA's which were based on the 84 and made by Beretta. They are...
The S&W M&P15 Sport will be accurate out of the box. There is an on going test comparing the Sport and the Colt 6920 and the Sport has been holding it's own.

+1 on the M&P Sport. Got mine thru GunBrokers last May. Only problem was having to wait the couple days for shipping.
Nikon has a rebate on BDC scopes.

If all you want is a plinker, get the P223 w/BDC(w/o rings) for about $110 after rebate or $145...
Can't say anything about baseballs and such but the NFL only uses Wilson footballs which are made in Ada, Ohio.
The world’s only dedicated football factory:
In 1955 Wilson opened the Wilson Football factory in Ada, Ohio to ensure that Wilson footballs would not only be American made, but the...
Ramone,
I recently got the same bag from Amazon(now listed as no longer available) and was wondering if you've had any problem with the rifles lubricant(oil) on the inside of the bag.
