Unfortunatily, as some have already said, tangiable goods. Most importantly food and water. Tools for survival. Guns, ammo, water filters, freeze dried foods, etc. Eventual recovery based on historical examples makes the assumption that the "system" is realitivily the same as in the past...
I voted for the scout. And +1 for lots of ammo. If you want a 5.56 I would suggest also considering the LWRC rifle. Runs good, lasts long time, period.
If you are in the market for a piston ar, I would sugest looking at the LWRC in addition to the POF and LMT. I have done a lot of shooting with an early POF and a LWRC and both work well. I do enjoy the ease of cleaning as well. Good luck.
Ohhhh, Never sell a gun. Yugo's are a little hard to find now. I was thinking about 475 to 500. I picked up one a few months ago for 450 but have recently seen them at a gun show for 550+. Also, it was kind of a used gun before you bought it as it came from a kit. The reciever and barrel...
Glad to hear there are others. I love them both and do sometimes carry. As for cycling, I am a rodie, cat 2, with a few age group state championships. Wish I could shoot as good as I sometimes ride. Enjoy:)
I live in Tucson and got pulled over for a burnt out light over the license plate. The first thing the officer asked was "Do you have a firearm in the vehicle". The whole conversation was pleasent but he parked me on the hood of the cruiser with the emptied gun and mag on the hood behind me...
Century has my Yugo UF right now for the same problem you describe. Apparently there have been several Yugo's with problems based on the posts on the other site. Send it back.
Hi All, Recently bought a century Yugo fixed and uf (because I could and they are getting harder to find). Both had straight sights and actually looked good for kit guns. The fixed works like a champ. The uf has a problem and is on its way back to century. Talking to the service rep was...
Nice rifle. I have the same one. Took it out to the range this weekend and had some issues. The first 50 went ok although the action seemed weak with ejection at 0200 and 5 to 10 feet. Then the failuers to feed started. I did clean the gun, grenade launcher was down, ammo was wolf black box...
From what I have read the downloaded ammo was earlier than late80's early 90's. The later stuff (again late 80's early 90's) has a different pressure curve than the US M855 round. It has worked well in my piston ar's but I have heard of problems with some DI guns. Most seem to like it though...
Hello All, I recently picked up a Yugo uf from Classicarms. The reciever is marked with "Global Machine & Tool Rhome, TX". Anybody know the story on this co? I have looked around and found some info on "Global Tardes" but is this the same co? Thanks.
While buying Guat surp 5.56 (the second grade stuff) I did a little research on this subject. The general consensus was that with stick or ball powder there is no concern. The concern was with older style of powder that could flake into smaller nodguals resulting into a faster burn rate. Let...
