My daughter was just convicted of a class A misdemeanor here in TX. Attempt of commit fraud. Rubber check. By TX law, is she eligible for a conceal carry license?
I realize any answer is not final, an attorney shud be consulted.
I have a Mini14 Ranch Rifle stamped 223. Rifle made in 2007, by serial number. I don't have the rifle as it is in storage. My question, can I fire 5.56 in this rifle?
Thanks
I'll be 73 shortly, and have come to realize that showy doesn't really mean better. Let me have my Plain Jane 1911 with improved springs etc and I'm happy. Shoots just as well as a dandified pretty show gun.
Having said that, it's like the feller said, "Whatever Floats Your Boat".
I often carry a .32acp derringer as a pocket backup to my CCW. Tried a .38 but couldn't handle the recoil. The .32 is fine..
The derringers have their place.
DIDJA NOTICE??????? NUMBER 1000. Took me 11 years
Good buy. Not sure I would buy legions but Wouldn't hesitate to buy Sigs.
I have 2 1911's, 3 P226's a 320, a 238 and a P225 Guess you can say I like Sigs.
I had a Colt Commander and didn't care for it so decided to buy a Kimber Pro Carry II, loved it. I then decided to buy a Government model, a neighbor had a Sig 1911 for sale. We took it out back to try it out and fell in love. I have had two them.
When my first wife passed, I was forced to...
I just looked thru the Greg Covington knife web site and I was really enthralled by the knives. Awesome knives.
Too bad the legal limit for blades, here in TX., is 5.5". :banghead:
Way back, bout 99, I saw an ad from a retired LEO who had several guns for sale. I ended up buying 3 but I don't remember what 2 of them were. The third was a CA 44 special, 3" barrel, Stratford, Conn. That was the one that get me started on 44 special for CCW.
Just an awesome gun. I just...
+1 with walkalong. No one makes 5.56 dies. Once you reload your 5.56 brass, they become, in essence, 223's.
The only down side to reloading the 5.56 brass is that your going to have to get the crimp out of the primer pocket. After that and trimming the brass length it becomes a walk in the...
While I am not that fond of Bisley's, you have selected my favorite caliber.
For those of you who buy and have to wait, I feel your pain. Here, we just walk in and put our money down.
I have a friend here on the THR who is looking at buying a SA revolver. He is talking about driving...
I agree if everyone who can OC should ban Whataburger, but that won't do much good, I'm afraid. With a state population of approx. 28 million and approx. 800,000 who are eligible to OC, that won't make much of an impact.
I read something along these for either Oregon or Washington. Last month? Not sure.
I suspect that they won't push the non-licensed dealers to perform back ground checks.
I wonder how non-licensed dealers could do the back-ground checks.
