I have a BCM KMR 11.5 enhanced lightweight upper (pencil barrel) with the standard flash hider and am ordering an AAC Mini 4.
My question pertains to what mount to get. I am currently looking at the AAC Brakeout 2.0, but I am concerned with flash and decibel increase. I know that the 11.5...
If I order a gun from XYZ online site that is based out of the state I live in, and have it shipped to an FFL in the state I live in, will I still have to pay tax or just the FFL transfer fee and the money that was sent to the original seller? I plan on using Cheaper than Dirt as the FFL...
Does the .40 version accept the Glock 22 round magazines without issue?
I found the answer after I stopped searching for it. It does indeed accept them.
Thank you all for the input. I will be taking him to a local range that allows you to rent pistols (gonna focus on the ones yall mentioned). I will also check to see if Will Rogers has a gun show coming up. I'll be looking into the shotgun idea, as it sounds better than a revolver ( I just...
There have been many home break-ins in the past few months in the area my grandpa lives in. My grandpa also has extreme arthritis and other physical ailments, so I am looking for a firearm to purchase for him for self-defense purposes. He has handled firearms throughout his military career...
I have an AR-15 with an Aimpoint Ml3 and larue cantilever mount, however, my current soft case creates an extremely tight fit for the rifle as far as height is concerned when the optic is attached and the magazine is inserted. It is so tight that I am barely able to zip the case up.
Does...
I have 5 "older version" Pmags which have the feed lip cover that is easily removed with a thumb. Only two of these five mags are used, and they all have similar degrees as to how much force is needed to flip off the cover with a thumb.
I just received the revision M version, and I agree...
I have an LMT lower and my PMags (not revision M) do not come out of the magwell when the mag release is pushed and the magazine is empty even if I sling the rifle downward.
Hopefully the revision M will alleviate this so that no more sanding is needed.
Is this item compatible with PMAGS?
The website says USGI, Thermold Orlite, and CMAG, and I have not been able to confirm or deny if this item works with PMAGs.
Thanks for any info.
I have lost one of the metal pieces that you loop the sling through twice. I do not know what this piece is called. I have checked the viking website, however, they do not sell just this piece and I can't search for it since I do not know what it is called. Can anyone help me locate one...
I need to clarify. I can only remove the magazine with my hand when the button is depressed. The magazine does not drop freely when the mag release button is depressed. I will try to adjust the mag release and/or sand that notch down and see if that helps. Thanks.
I have an LMT Defender 2000 lower, and I use 30rd Pmags. When I press the mag release button, the magazine stays in the mag well. Even when I "sling" the gun in a snapping motion, the magazine remains in place whether fully loaded or empty.
I tried these magazines in a friend's defender...
I have the ML3 and the LaRue Cantilever M2 mount on flat top rail.
Is there a precise way to mount the optic where it will be set properly other than eyeballing it. I have heard that a business card or something to that effect can help determine if the brightness adjustment knob is exactly...
Has anyone used these to zero in a firearm?
I cannot recall if I can post a link to the product or not, however, it can be found on opticsplanet.net.
Essentially it is in the shape of a cartridge (various calibers available) and you chamber the item which displays a laser. It says the...
I have seen the hammer fly off of one P-14 at the range, and the thumb safety snapped off on mine.
I know of several people that have had only minor feeding problems or no problems at all, however.
I just haven't had many good personal experiences with them.
I am not sure if you are looking for the original manual, however, I purchased the one below which does the trick.
http://www.warrencustomoutdoor.com/tdg-lg/winchester-74.html
It includes pictures as well as text. If you need any help taking the rifle down, just let me know.
I am looking to join gun organizations which focus on the backing of legislature allowing CCW as well as preventing certain weapon bans.
I have read that the NRA is more into "sport shooting" rather than self-defense, however I am not completely opposed to joining them. I do want to join an...
Sad news indeed. My thoughts go out to the family.
“The truest end of life, is to find the life that doesn't end.”
I did not know MarkMc753, however, I gather he will go on living through the positive interactions he made with the people who did know him. Peace be with him.
I found a place for the rear sight. http://www.sarcoinc.com/galil.html
I still have yet to locate a tool for the front sight adjustment.
I am also contemplating buying an original IMI sling.
Any suggestions?
