Reminds me of the Colt Museum that used to be in
Gettysburg. People were told they were buying blank-firing replicas. They came to Reddings to purchase the "blanks." The only trouble was that they had bought a replica alright, with a percussion cap, powder and ball they had a live pistol...
Here in Gettysburg we used to have the Colt Museum. They were selling repro black powder guns to the tourists as "blank" guns. The museum has been closed for years now.
For a typical .38 Special revolver, you don't have to worry so much about seating depth. It only has to be seated flush for the semi-automatic pistols chambered for this round, like the Smith & Wesson Model 52. Just load them and shoot them! :)
It may not be such a good thing if the people buying all these guns haven't a clue about how to use them and refuse to learn! Then that would be an accident just waiting to happen!
Did you ever think of buying two (or more) loading manuals? Speer does list loads for the .357 Magnum and the hollow base wadcutters. You shouldn't depend on the web (except maybe for the bullet and/or powder manufacturers web sites) for loading data. Too many of us with bad memories and even...
The basketball dream team is made up of professional players! I don't know if that restriction is worth much these days! By the way, does anyone remember that the late actor Robert Stack was an olympic shotgunner?
I am trying to find out if the Lyman #49 has loading data for the 6mm/250 Savage cartridge. It is not the 6mm International! If it is listed in there I would be over joyed to purchase one. :D
If you have invested in a reloading manual (preferably at least two) that should answer most of your questions. Not having a SP101 snubnose I can't help you with that one (however I do have a GP100 with four inch barrel.)
If the primed cases are stored in a cool, dry place it would not harm them in any way! Remington sells preprimed 6mm BR brass and I'm sure that various dealers do not sell them off the shelf very rapidly! :D
Now everyone knows why I like my .25-06!!:D I used to shoot a .300 Winchester Magnum from a benchrest. Two boxes of ammo a week and my shoulder was purple from week to week!:what:
