FWIW, I have a PSA kit I put together that has shot some pretty nice groups, actually shoots better than some of my bolt guns. I really should put a better trigger in it.
Thanks for the insight guys. Did some more digging and the 12c is in much better shape than the 12a. The "a" is missing a piece of the toe along with some play in the action. Both stocks were lacquered without being removed so they definitely aren't original.
Nice 510 Clark, my first rifle...

It has the billboard on the barrel and the round recoil shield, aftermarket grips with some light scraches from a holster. Doesn't look fired much at all. Trying to attach photos but it says they're too large.
I recenly aquired 2-3/4 stainless security six, good shape aside from some light holster wear. What do you think it's worth? The prices seem to be all over the place.

I haven't seen the gun yet, I'm sure it could be nickled. The guy says it has nice sported wood and looks to be chromed. I've never seen a nickled or chromed rifle figured someone here might have.
Alright guys, it's unanimous. I'll give it a good scrub and leave it alone. It has a one of the nicest stocks I've ever seen on a Remington old or new.
