    30-06 is a great gun for black bear. Most bullets from 150 to 180 will work just fine.

    My bolt won't go in! New Tikka

    I have a Tikka T3 lite in 243 and have taken it hunting many times. It has been one of the nicest and most accurate rifles I have ever owned. Most people who diss them have never owned one.

    Recommend me a bear gun!

    I would say 44 MAG min but you could use 357mag with hard cast bullets. A relatively affordable gun would be a Taurus 4" in either caliber. With the 44 you could go up or down in power over the 357.

    handgun hunt

    I use a ruger super redhawk with a 7.5" barrel pushing 240xtp's. Works pretty good so far. I might add a scope to it this year.
