Fast 39 question....
Greets! My 39 is old, ~1940. The foregrip is slightly loose- it can twist back and forth a bit (no real motion fore/aft).
Is there an easy way to tighten it?
TIA!
I've been big into the AK lately; went from none to two in about 8 months, spent over $2k.
The Century 'Polish 1960' that's available on the mass market now has good to very good feedback, overall. It's really just a parts kit gun with American receiver and barrel, but people seem to like them...
The Midway bag is nice; strap pad's a little light.
If you sign up for the email sales at Tommy's Gun Packs they'll often (often!) send offers for ~50% off this and that. American made beefiness!
Natchez is blowing out all the Eagle brand textile stuff; might be worth a look.
...surprised by the attitude here.
"Good job for asking! Here's how, and here's some things to be careful of _______," that's High Road.
Fuff- I *only* mentioned my qualifications since the assumptions seemed to be that I was a troglodyte who's only tool was a hammer. I'm not- I got pliers...
I recently bought a 95% 4 screw S&W Pre-18 in .22LR off gunbroker. I took out the three obvious screws in the sideplate but couldn't get the plate off. I didn't want to reef on it, so I put it back together and came to get some advice.
Is there some trick or some good way to apply force...
Henderson Defense sells CAI WASRs that they've certified to be free of the issues which *some* CAI guns have. If you're looking to mail-order, that's the route I'd take.
KB: "Alternatives - get a Glock. Not a great trigger, but better than the DAO. Or better, get a compact (or "ultra" or "micro") 1911 with an aluminum frame."
Glock doesn't have anything even remotely close in size. Ditto the micro 1911s.
The PM9 is successful precisely because there aren't...
KodiakBeer, to some extent I agree. My PM9's mission is restricted to up close personal defense, 8' or less. Given he trigger, the grip, the sight radius, and my ability...it'd be dire need drove me to run the risk of something further.
I'm ok with that- it's a little gun. You gotta give up...
usp9: "Kahr recommends a new recoil spring every 1500 rounds."
Where does this information come from? I'd like to know if there's a similar recommendation for my PM9.
TIA!
