This is a great reminder that I wish people would take the time to consider more seriously, especially if you have gun stickers plastered all over your rear window.
Very good points, and a good example of how the internet can twist perception. While I'm sorry to hear about the op's experience, to create a thread implying there is a widespread problem seems unfounded. Like you mentioned, the source (another forum thread) for the failure craft holster...
I've only seen 10mm available for less than 60c per round a couple times in the last year. I guess demand is low enough that it is not high priority for the manufacturer. 22c for new brass? I'd buy some of those. I paid 37c each at the lgs just to make up for the brass I lose from mine getting...
I took the opportunity to teach my daughter to shoot and made a family activity out of target practice. The old rifles from grandpa turned out to be fun to shoot, in addition to providing protection on the ranch. Now I shoot more in a week than I did in a year-for decades! Love it!
That looks like a good time Coal Cracker. I had a little fun with my 22lr at 200 for the first time recently. I usually don't feel like fighting the frequent wind around here so I try to keep it around 125yds. My new gong was calling though, and hitting it out over 200 gave me a little more...
This is my choice for the woods. P220 SAO 10mm. I like the caliber a lot and am actively looking for a G20. I'll bring it to the Bbq and you can try it out.:D
I picked up a new AR500 target at lunch today and grabbed a shovel after work. Been eye'n this spot on my hill to reach beyond 200yds. Can't wait till tomorrow...
I really like them. My "woods" pistol came with a tritium sight and I carry it often in the evenings where mountain lions, coyotes, and bears roam. Training with them at dusk really highlights their usefulness. If I were to upgrade my other pistols' sights, I would definitely consider tritium...
Yes, of course and all of the other reasons behind demand. For example, I stocked up on supplies because of a pandemic and bare meat shelves at the market
I haven't paid 110, but there is more going on than an election cycle and I'm willing to pay a bit more than normal, when available. Still not biting on the 1k limit plus hazmat, plus shipping deals, though.
I know of at least one local wildfire started by people shooting in dry vegetation. Can't say for sure what ammo they used. Green tips will spark on steel and some rocks; tracers are a definite YES!
