Being a lefty myself, I've precticed (dry of course) turning my entire body to the left, drawing up and holding the gun with both hands as close to my body as possible. Your left shoulder should be against the seat approximately where your right one is under normal circumstances. Its a bit...
Other than the LCP being a tad nicer looking, they are the same gun. I own a LCP, and a good friend owns a Kel tec. Same gun.
I highly recommend the crimson trace laser.
The tube in the stock that operates the action.
I have it working now. I to use a little muscle and beat the action spring buffer out and take a little material off the diameter adn then repolish.
works like a charm now ,and I got an autoloader for 100 bucks.
In my case, the gun already fired prior to me doing anything to her. She just felt like sand had been dumped in the clock adn trigger parts.
Barrel to slide lugs, and Slide to reciever fit was not touched at all.

I started with a beat to hell Argentine sistema I picked up for about 200 bucks. replaced all the clock\trigger parts, opened up the ejection port some, softened all the sharp edges, glassed up the ramp and barrel, cut tangs to fit BGS, sent the slide to be cut for NOVAKS, and blasted and...

Ive recently accuired a 11-87 shotty for a steal of a price that was abused by its previous owner. the butstock is cracked, and the action tube was bent ever so slightly. Ive since straightened it out, and by eye and a straight-edge, it appears to be right, but the plunger...

Thanks for all the information gents. Its giving me a better idea of what I want to accomplish with the build.
Basically, I want a heavier round out of a longer barrel to get some decent accuracy at somewhat reasonable distances (600 yds?). And I think these guns look cool as hell!

My only concern is the statement "should only be used for spare or replacement parts only" that DSA includes in their part description on the site. Makes me a little reluctant to pull the trigger.
Does anyone have direct experience in building an FAL from a DSA Kit? How was it?
Im looking to build an FAL rifle, and about the only thing Ive settled on is that I would like to have the longer 21" medium contour barrel on it with a bi-pod.
Of the "inch" vs "metric" variations available, which is better to build off of? The two kits ive been eyeballin are the FN FAL G1...
I guess they're all doe? Just kidding. Time has been the most valuable commodity in my household. I went the first day of muzzleloader, missed a doe. Hopefully I can get in the woods this weekend.
Congrats of finding a place, and your harvest thus far.
Good luck to all for the remainder of...
I've got one in 12 guage, and it's been great.
Sorry I can't answer your question, as I have had no issues from my Pardner Pump. But I would like to know about the slug barrel as well.
