    AR15 has pretty bad accuracy?

FWIW, I have a PSA kit I put together that has shot some pretty nice groups, actually shoots better than some of my bolt guns. I really should put a better trigger in it.

Help on some Remington model 12s

Thanks for the insight guys. Did some more digging and the 12c is in much better shape than the 12a. The "a" is missing a piece of the toe along with some play in the action. Both stocks were lacquered without being removed so they definitely aren't original. Nice 510 Clark, my first rifle...

Help on some Remington model 12s

Somehow I am in the position to buy a couple Remington Model 12s, one is an octagon barrel and the other isn't. Of the two the Octagon is in better shape. I know prices are all over so I'm really asking for info and a general price guide. I'll upload better pics later.

    Security Six value

Thanks for all the replies, I don't know if I'll keep it or not. I have an '85 blued 4" that I'll probably never part with, amazingly accurate with 38 special wadcutters.

    Security Six value

It has the billboard on the barrel and the round recoil shield, aftermarket grips with some light scraches from a holster. Doesn't look fired much at all. Trying to attach photos but it says they're too large.

    Security Six value

I recenly aquired 2-3/4 stainless security six, good shape aside from some light holster wear. What do you think it's worth? The prices seem to be all over the place.

rem 722 in .222 ckecked yesterday.

The extractor can't be that much of a flaw, they seem to work fine despite being almost 70 years old. I was considering fitting a Timney trigger only because my kids will end up shooting and inheriting these rifles. All my stock rem triggers are around 3.5-4.5lbs and adjusted properly, I've...

rem 722 in .222 ckecked yesterday.

I know of a couple that have been cut to 223. Are you running the factory trigger in yours Eastbank? Do you worry about breaking the extractor?

    Chromed BRNO Mauser?

I haven't seen the gun yet, I'm sure it could be nickled. The guy says it has nice sported wood and looks to be chromed. I've never seen a nickled or chromed rifle figured someone here might have.

    Chromed BRNO Mauser?

Im looking a sporterized Checkoslovokian BRNO Mauser. The whole gun is nicely chromed?

    To re-finish or not?

Alright guys, it's unanimous. I'll give it a good scrub and leave it alone. It has a one of the nicest stocks I've ever seen on a Remington old or new.
