Well guys, it's obvious!
When the AR malfunctions (like they always do....)
Then you pull the trigger on the Glock to self destruct-KABOOM!

Kel Tec Fix
Dr W,
My Kel Tec also had a sensitive mag release. The fix is to file and sand it down so it is much shorter (more flush with the frame) I only advise this if you are comfortable about marring the beautiful finish;).
It took me about 10 minutes with a file and 2 finer...
Having owned a Hi-Point, Beretta Storm, and a KelTec Sub 2000. I will say that the Hi-Point does everything that the others do except for 1) Folding (KelTec) and 2) Looking good (Beretta).
It fell apart the first time I shot it (front sight) but after tightening the sight back on it was my...
That "You don't want that M1 Carbine, it's a Universal."
Turns out after I paid $300 for it it was an Underwood. (You could see the "Un" then it disappeared under the sights and I could just barely make out that the last letter was a "D" instead of an "L").:D
And it is the most accurate...
Thanks, Brian for the correction.
Yep, # is on the cylinder also. Could not find any letters on the frame.
Does anyone have an idea of the year it was made by the correct serial # 15XXX? (And that it is a 43 and not a 34):o
No magnetic attraction to the frame. Model 43 Airweight it is. (Not marked as such on barrel)
However, the plot thickens!
Now the question is on checking out the frame I found one set of numbers on the frame 15XXX (butt of the gun) and on the barrel.
Then when you open the...
I have called S&W and they told me that they are not working on older guns any longer.
They gave me a name of a gentleman (John something or other that I won't mention because I feel that it's his business and he knows what he needs to charge to clear a profit) that refurbishes the older...
I picked up a P-90 for $250 a month ago on a whim. I always liked the looks of the Ruger autos.
I figured that for the price it was a good truck gun.
It not only shoots accurately but it digests any ammo-including a friends crappy handloads that choked my XD and Norinco 1911 (which...
BC,
Sorry to hear you're Canadian.
:DActually, I had a dual citizenship till I turned 21 and had to decide. My Mom & Dad were born in Canada (Fork River, Man. and Puce-by Windsor Ont.) and have been legal aliens in the U.S. since 1959.
I am sorry to hear what has...
I picked my wife up a S&W Model 34 "kit" gun at my local gun shop. The dealer told me my wife would like it for a shooter and once I picked it up I couldn't deny it. Paid $300 for it. It seemed like a lot but I've been trying to get her to shoot with me. She's worth the money for putting up...
Thank you Carl Sharp for helping me purchase lifetime memberships to the NRA for myself (long overdue) and my sons (13 and 14 years old)!
I put off the purchase of my "panic buying" guns and ammo (Obama induced). I instead decided that if there is any chance for my sons to continue to own...
I have a Beretta Storm, Kel-Tec Sub 2000, and a HiPoint 995 9mm carbine.
Besides the Beretta being more solid and the Kel-Tec being able to be folded, they ALL are in the same group as far as reliabilty and accuracy. The only other downside is the hi caps are easily available for those two...
I bought both the 3.5 and 5 inch versions for my sons. They were enjoyable to shoot if you like to practice clearance drills............stovepipes, failures to load, safeties clicking on while shooting. Not to mention a very heavy double action trigger pull.
I would stand behind my boys...
