I have both 30-06 and 270 (and a bunch of other overlapping duplicatively chambered rifles). But I can't find the slightest way to take issue with this excellent and pithy summary ;-)
I really like them. Love the grip and the top break. Cocking is tricky as contact with the trigger during cocking stops the cyl moving, so the top scorers are pretty unlikely to shoot them. Since I’m at no risk of being a top scorer anyway.... ;-)
It’s a late model Uberti. I shoot a pair of them for SASS, frontier cartridge duelist. I haven’t had any trouble with binding really. I use lots of lube in the cartridges, pack the cylinder arbor hole with lube and about half way through a match will give it a good spray of Balistol I think that...
That was my initial reaction. But all this means is that the State AG must do a better job of coordinating with the New York State Police to ensure that the Superintendent has requested the AG to intervene in cases where the County Sheriff has declined to act. And, as noted above, there's a long...
I have a 20" H&R chambered in 45 Casull and can duplicate 450 BM loads with the 250 FTX and H110, ie 2200 fps. I would imagine that's entirely possible with the 460 at lower pressure. I also do a cast 300 grs at 1875 that is the cat's meow. Again, should be no problem with the 460. Enjoy!
Not so handy is 35 WCF; no brass. But 35 Krag (very, very similar, but slightly short when formed to 35 WCF) is easy-peasy. Since it's simply 30-40 necked for .358 bullets, just a rechamber of a 35 Rem or a rechamber and rebore of a 30-30. Plenty of brass and dies available from Lee, CH4D and...
What rifle are you thinking of using? Seems to me that unless you are seriously committed to a 35 cal wildcat, 405 Win would be a better way to go. Reamers, dies and brass readily available. Ballistics similar to what you are after. Worth a thought.
First, thanks very much for sharing your experiences and taking time to respond. Unfortunately, it hasn’t got me anywhere
One of the things that has worn thin on me with CAS is the relative monotony and extensive nitpicking rules, as well as the fervent, often self-apppinted...
Your reaction to critique of a BP substitute product is irrational and you are unhinged. I guess this is why there's an ignore button. Expelliarmus!
And, in the unlikely event that anyone else is interested, page 73 of the attached paper clearly shows graphs representing the relationship...
Rodwha, this exactly the point. You've gone off half cocked. Again. You are ranting, have presented materials that have no bearing on T7, and have ignored the information from Hodgdon, the manufacturer, that doesn't fit your bizarre personal afront at anything that seems like a critique of T7...
So, multi-market queries about a non-US manufactured product are a bit tricky. What might work on the Pro Hunter model sold in the US (nice rifle btw - congratulations!) may not work with yours.
This thread from the Steyr Club forum might help (as would a query there)...
I shoot SASS, but the gilding has come off the lily a bit. I also shoot local level BPCR comps. And I have shot competitive sporting clays for a number of years.
I am not a great pistol shot. Well, come to mention it, not a great rifle shot either ;) But definitely better with a rifle and...
Thanks very much. I'm familiar with Fiocchi in general but haven't run across this "shooting dynamics" sub-marque before and given the price wanted to see if there was a bad reason it was so seemingly economical.
The manufacturer has provided the empirical evidence.
And precisely because you are, as here in this very post, frequently quite arrogant, and offering poor information as in, for example, your Wayne's World corrosion test, your pompous presentation of often ill-informed views as expertise or...
