These are a couple of kitchen knives I have had and broke them. I just have the blades.
What can I do with them or what would you do with them
They are really thin
I have a decent marlin 39a with the 20" barrel.
I am thinking about having the barrel and mag tube cut down to 16" to match the length of the stock /action when taken down.
Also thinking about having the barrel threaded at the same time.
This would make it similar to a 39TDS take down.
Edit, it...
I am looking for a good Kukri, not some modern interpretation but close to an original. I am looking more toward the smaller size and does not need the little knives that commonly go with a touristy knife.
Yes I know that I could use the Googles but looking for some of our expertise here.
The YouTuber Smartereveryday has a cool video on Slow-motion shock waves and has a short clip on the waves from a revolver.
here is a screen shot of it and here is the video link, look around minute 8:30
I just busted one of my wife's favorite paring knives. It was a Cattaraugus. We liked it because it was so thin.
We also have a few other cattaraugus kitchen knives. The french knife is sweet.
I would like some recommendations for a replacement.
Thin, less that 1/16"
Short, around 2"

I just got this from a guy I work with here in Cambodia. It is forged from an old macpherson strut center post.
about 1/4 inch thick and the balance point is about 1 3/4" forward of the handle.
I have a bunch of knives and do not use them alot. I live in Cambodia where 1/3 of the year it is hot and dry and the rest is hot and wet. I want to store my keepers here until I return to the States next May. Then I want to store them in my house until I return permanently some time 2027.
I...
I am thinking about picking up a traditional Marine Corps knife from WWII, I am leaning towards a Camillus but would be open to what would be most practical. A MK2 that is USMC stamped is the top of my list.
2 things: 1, What do you suggest, and 2, Where is a good place to purchase.
Over here in Cambodia it is very humid and the edges of my knifes rust in a short time, I forgot a good wax like Renaissance and need to find something like that to coat my stored knives. I can sharpen them and in a few weeks the humidity here has take the edge off.
About the only wax here is...
Would you buy a Semi Auto with an automatic empty mag release similar to the ejecting en-bloc like an M1 Garand?
Would you also have a slide release built in to the full/partially full magazine?
If you find a maker not listed, please add a reply to the thread.

a couple of Schrade Sharpfingers, one USA model and one SS with wood handles
A real nice Kershaw 1993-2
A couple of Case CV yellow handles
I really like a gold bead front sight, would a small bead that would look the same size as a front bead inset in the rear sight work. It would be similar to the 8 setup seen with tritium sights.
I am looking to build a lightweight slick side tuber but I want a dust cover on a flattop upper.
Basic idea
Ace skeleton stock
any lower, but a slick side with newer take-down pins would be great
Rifle length free float tube fore-end
one of the following;
1, 18" SS mid length barrel, low...
