I was flippin through the cabelas catalog and saw a rossi trifecta. It is a single shot rifle/shotgun that comes with 3 stainless barrels: 22lr, 20ga, and .243. I was intrigued by the price tag. $279.99 with the coupon. Does anybody have any experience with this gun? I can't remember rossi's...
Went to Dick's the other night, on my way to academy. I was gonna go to academy and get the 700 sps in .30-06, but stopped by dicks on the way to see if they had anything good. The guy at the counter seemed a bit bewildered when i asked if they had any 700's in the back b/c they didn't have any...
go with the remmy. If you like more rounds, pick up some (or one if you so please) 30 rd mags for the remmy. You can't buy hi-cap for the marlin, although it's a good gun. Remington now makes 30rd mags so you don't have to buy from a dif. brand if you don't want to. $20 at bass pro last week...
You should be happy with either one. You sound like you want a cz though. If you want a cz, get a cz. If you want a savage, get a savage. You're going to get great accuracy with either of them. The cz MIGHT be a little bit smoother and/or better fitting, but accuracy wise, they'll be pretty...
i have heard good things about saigas, if they're legal for you. I also hear good things about mini 14's, but most say they're not super accurate, but a friend that just got one says there's enough room for double finger action,:D so you'd probably hit what you're aimin at:D
they poke the eyes out of, and sometimes kill calves, but i'm not sayin i've shot any.
And as for the hawks, if you're too lazy to put up chicken wire (no shame in that), fireworks in general, not even aimed at the hawk, would probably keep it away, although you might have a few chickens...
