I was thinking of getting some sort of aftermarket finish on my 642 to protect it from sweat, dirt, and whatever else I come across in the course of the day. What is the best most durable finish I can get? Thanks for the help and pictures of your 642 refinished would be appreciated.

sig p226 sct i love mine. but can't go wrong with any 226 models

i love love love it. contrary to popular belief recoil even with +p's is quite managable and I can make fast accurate follow up shots but I practice alot because i love shooting it.

the s&w 627 pro series because of the great trigger 4 inch barrel is perfect length and 8-shots. not to mention great sights, grip, and stainless steel so it can take the abuse and lack of cleaning encountered in combat situations.
