What's your "fun gun"

My favorite "fun" gun varies from time to time,,,

Most of the time it's a .22 revolver of some ilk,,,
That usually varies between my Model 63 and Model 18 S&W's.

For a long time it was my Beretta NEOS Carbine,,,
That stylish carbine always brings out my inner James Bond.

Lately though my tastes have adapted to the ammo shortage,,,
My Henry Accu-Bolt single-shot .22 rifle is seeing a lot more range time,,,
I forgot how pleasurable it is to leisurely pop away at spinner targets at 50 yards.

I know the feeling, just spent two days teaching my 7 year old nephew to shoot safely with the BB guns.
We shot targets and gallery set ups and had one of those spinners)that just swayed), can't remember having that much fun shooting in a long while.

He liked the "recoil" of my old Daisy lever gun. Shot it better than I did at the cans.;)

One of my revolvers because they are easy to clean and I am lazy. Probably my S&W 627pro, 8 shots and I can shoot .357 until I get tired of the recoil and switch to .38.

Fun on the cheap..

MK II or 10/22

Cowboy Mood Cheap Single Six

Cowboy Mood Spendy Vaquero .357

GI Joe Mood US Rifle Cal .30 M1 & Springfield Armory GI-45

Komrade Mode Mosin-Nagant M-44 & Yugo 59/66 SKS

aside from the cost of ammo my most fun guns to shoot are both of my S&W 29-2's or m1 carbine.

stuff the whole family enjoys:
20 ga Beretta AL 390 for flying targets.
9mm Sig P226 for handgun.
Browning BL22 for rifle.

My 20Ga Stoger Uplander.
I love the boom and light recoil plus, depending on the load I use it's VERY versitile!
Besides who dosen't love firing a double barreled Shotgun?
With light target loads it recoils like a Magnum Air rifle.
It can feed ya, save your life and make ya giggle, yep it's my favorite!

If I HAD to pick from the arsenal:

- 6.8mm AR for hogs (it's almost ridiculous)
- HK USC .45

BTW, Hondo is right, they're all fun.

For just pure plinking I'll take my Marlin 795 and a pocket full of loaded mags. I can burn up a whole lot of ammo with that thing. It's been in the safe since the shortage started because it will burn up ammo so fast though. Still that's about as much fun as I have with a firearm. It has no scope or fancy sights. It just shoots accurate and it doesn't make my back hurt holding it off hand. And it will shoot for a long time before I have to reload. I got sit down somewhere and reload all my mags then I'm up shooting again.

My Rogers and Spencer black powder 44, its slow and messy but more fun than any of my modern firearms.

The realistic angle: Any gun which Always has 2,000 rds. reserved for it is the fun gun.
The SKS is down to that "minimum contingency level", because .25/round before shipping is a bit too high. Avoid any situation which requires you to "divert" with only 1,000 of whichever quantity....

I love my lever guns:
1962 Winchester Model 94 .30-30
1971 Winchester Model 94 .44 Magnum
1972 Marlin Model 1894 .44 Magnum
2007 Marlin Model 336XLR .30-30

I do not always take everything to the range ,but I do always take both handguns that fire 7.62 x 25. I guess the CZ-52 and the M-57 must be my favorites.

Right now it's between my 1917 Enfield cause it's new and my 308 Garand because it's been a while since I had it out so I'm shooting it this weekend.

Glock 19 goes with me every trip, even if its the only gun I bring. Its my EDC but its also the gun I most enioy plinking with. If I had an AR15, I think it would dethrone the G19 from bring my favorite plinker.

A gun is a tool I need simply because many others have them. I do not like firearms and using them gives me zero pleasure.
The anti-gun gunner. why subscribe to this forum? There are plenty of people, like me who just enjoy shooting. If you are not messing around,Troll, you should subscribe to forums that give a s__t about you opinion. Opinions are like anuses everyone has one and some of them stink.
