No. It was only on the gun for the photo op. The mount seems solid enough though. The barrel has two rings instead on just one securing the single-piece magazine tube. I suppose it had to meet Military requirements to bayonet things. :D M9 bayonet.

Remington 870 w/ Choate +3 extension and rifle sighted 20" barrel next to a Mossberg 590. 870 18" bead sight w/ Surefire fore end and Wilson +2 extension. Same with Eagle bandoleer. :D

I bought the same gun with an 18" barrel at Turners in San Marcos. I think I paid around $250 + tax & fees. It was also on sale. YSR, ask Turners if/when they will put the shorter barrel model on sale.
