I have been very satisfied with my Jarvis barrel.

Why is there not more interest in the m&p 45c?

I have a m&p 45c and it is a great shooter. It holds less rounds tha the Glock 30, but the grip is smaller. It is very close in size to a Glock mid size (G19,G23). For my hands the grip is just enough smaller than the Glock 45s (even the SF30) to make it more practical for me. If my hands were...

    Govt. ammo purchases

Homeland security surplus. We need to pass legislation that whenever DHS ammo stores exceed one box(50 rounds) per armed agent, the excessive ammo must be sold to the public at half the purchase cost. In fact any ammo purchased by the govt. that is commonly used by civilians, should be matched...

Is a Browning HiPower Worth $300 More Than a CZ?

For some reason Browning Hi-Powers and Cz-75s have been lumped together as similar guns. Other than that they both are generally 9mm and the bullet comes out the front they are quite unalike. If you like either of them and like the price, buy them. Both are fine firearms.

Rear sight issue on Glock model 22

Glock sights are very inexpensive and easy to replace. About five dollars for the basic stock sight.

    Which .22 for training?

I have a cz kadet pistol. It is an outstanding training pistol. It is crazy accurate, but not as easy to shoot as a single action pistol. You must pay close attention to technique to get good results. When I shoot a Ruger MkII or a Model 41 Smith, I tend to get Lazy. When I have to work at...

Sig p220 with Blazer Brass = Feed Issues?

I have had a few problems with blazer brass .45 in the past. Never any with the aluminum. Seemed to be a problem with the crimp. Wouldn't run in a previously 100% reliable sig 220 or any of my 1911s.

    Why do we love them?

I'll have to check out their latest, the SR9. It might be the one I have been saying they need to build. :)

What to buy glock,Xd,CZ p01 or FN

You can hardly go wrong, picking a 9mm from that list.

    Why do we love them?

Less bulky, better triggers, and less ugly probably wouldn't cost any more to build. Make a few tweaks and build on the reliability and durability that they already have, and I would do more than just stick to their .22s.

Trading off my CZ 85 for the Beretta Vertec

vertec I had a vertec, and some of the changes they made to the ergos, just did not work out. For a gun of this basic size and layout, I recomend the standard 92, or a sig 226. The short version is that, while the vertec was very well made, The trigger guard is too large and the trigger...

    CZ Kadet 22 pistol

I have the kadet pistol. It is a great pistol. It is a traditional double action, but has a safety instead of a decocker. It is a great training tool for shooting sigs or hks or czs. The trigger is not as good as a single action .22 or a 1911 conversion, but it makes a better training platform...

The answer to any newcomers what to carry question is -The Glock 19

I am not a "glock guy", though I have owned several and currently own a g27. I do tend to recommend a glock 19 ,as a first gun, for people who want one gun to start with that will do all jobs. It is reliable, simple, and durable. It can be carried and shoots less expensive ammo at the range...

    Made In Brazil?

That Imbel logo appears to be made by a pin stamp machine. Sort of like a dot matrix printer. Only it's a dot matrix puncher.
