As far as accuracy goes, can the M1A top the 700 at 100-200 yards? I'm shopping for a 700 for a deer rifle , but tell me why I shouldn't get an M1A, please. If it's as accurate, then I'd love to have the higher capacity and semi auto. Thanks for your knowledgeable input. -Jeff

Hi, I was at my LGS yesterday and two guys mentioned that because of the high carbon content in the steel Kimber uses for their barrels, they tend to rust before other barrels do. Anybody run into this before? Is there a benefit to these higher carbon steel barrels?
