    Self-Storage Units

Well, I know there's good locks, and obviously I'd look for an indoor one. I just need to know one that lets me store one at all

    Self-Storage Units

Link to thread, Pate? It'd suck if there's no storage unit in nassau, suffolk or westchester.

    Self-Storage Units

I read that storage units don't allow ammunition for being combustible/hazardous, but does anyone know of any self-storage units in nassau county that allow the storage of unloaded firearms?

    Storing firearms while in college

So...there should be no issues living in a dorm w/an off campus storage site, and buying/owning firearms?

    Storing firearms while in college

At the moment, I live in the communist wart of New York known as "New York City". In NYC, you're required to be 21 to own a musket ffs since even blackpowder weapons have to be registered under your gun licenses. But, see, I didn't apply to any CUNY. The only colleges I'll be going to are...

    Storing firearms while in college

Well, it's in the same state, just different college. But I suppose that since you'd be considered a resident of that state, it's then by extension the county?

    Storing firearms while in college

I suppose it'd be illegal possession of a firearm? Would a college dorm even be considered a legal residency/my new technical residency? Meaning, if I were to go get a dorm, have an off-site storage unit, would I then legally be able to purchase and own guns?

    Storing firearms while in college

Thanks for the responses, everyone. If I can't store it at a local PD, then I"ll get a storage unit. mljdeckard: lol, you're asking on a gunboard if Bloomberg of all people is Conservative? Ofcourse not. But in NYC, he almost is considered one, or atleast seen as a "Republican".

    Storing firearms while in college

I don't? I don't know where the confusion in my post may have come from, but I do not own any firearms. My question was if moving to long island and renting an apartment would be the only way to own, possess and store firearms. I know of no way to store a gun/any place that'd let you store...

    Storing firearms while in college

Well, I"ll be turning 18 this September and will be graduating (HS senior). I live in NYC, where you need to be 21 to own any kind of gun. My mom is as conservative as Bloomberg, and my dad sure as hell doesn't want to go through the process in getting a rifle/shotgun license. This is one of the...

I think you can only have 3 semi auto rifles in NYC

NYC allows you to have semi-autos, just on the same level as say, Cali and they can deny any weapon that looks too scary. I don't know about semi shotguns, but pumps are legal. Handguns are banned technically, and good luck getting the pistol license for one.

Who want's a full auto .22? Lets help make a law.

Eh....getting ONLY .22s opened for the MG registry is just as likely as re-opening it, period. Not only that, it'd mean re-chambering it to a different caliber and possibly say, having a 5.56 upper for your .22 M-16 could be illegal. It'd also encourage/help open a new avenue on caliber...
