Could we not re-classify AR/AK "pistols" as something other than pistols. Say we make a new class of firearm, let's call it "stockless rifle" and define it as a firearm built off a rifle receiver with a barrel length less than 16" and no stock. Then the ammunition in question is no longer...
Google Amanda Collins, she was a rape victim on a Colorado campus who had a concealed carry permit but was not carrying because she was on campus. Since then she has done several interviews touting concealed carry on campus, she even spoke at some state Senate hearings I believe
I was looking around a website the other day and found this. It's kind of a tour of the Izmash AK plant. The article is written by someone who's first language is not English (I would assume it's Russian) but it is written in English, just not perfect.
Also FYI there are some...
I was perusing the local pawnshop and noticed that they have a 250 rd can of Georgia-Arms .308 target loads, apparently someone sold it(the pawnshop did not get it directly from GA), the only problem i have is I'm a little paranoid that it might just be a can with GA paper on it with some yahoos...
if you are planning to get an M&P in a larger caliber and .22 pistol you may want to look at the new M&P 22 pistol. I don't know what the availability is yet but it may be something to think about. MSRP is around $420 hopefully that would put a street price around $350, which is reasonable.
Summit gunbroker has them on sale right now for $385... http://www.summitgunbroker.com/1911_A1.html
While i will agree that since it's a SALE price, it doesn't count as much as MSRP but just thought I'd throw it out there that you can still get them at decent prices if you look hard enough...
Thanks for the replies everyone, i think I'm gonna try the cell phone in a pocket away from me to see if that helps at all. I was thinking that the noise was activating the phone some how as it's always in my pocket and i never have this problem any other time.
I'll let ya know what...
Hey everybody,
I've been reading alot here recently don't post much(or at all really) but i have a weird question. Every time I go shooting and I have my phone in my pocket the battery always dies in about 2-3 hours as apposed to 12-16 hours of normal use.
Just wondering if this happens...
me and my friends like to glue bottle caps to string and tie them up. we shoot them at about 20 yards with iron sights. it's really difficult and it's a fun competition to see who can hit it first.
My parents gave me money around thanksgiving for my birthday(Nov.) and Christmas so i could spend it on Black Friday, I didn't see anything I wanted so I waited for the gunshow to come around and bought myself a NIB Taurus PT92 AFS
Sadly, I haven't been able to shoot it yet :fire:
have you considered a .22 lever action? I got a Henry .22 a few months ago and love it, it's my first gun and seems to me to be extremely accurate... and who didn't want to be a cowboy when they were younger?? :D
I watched the movie Legion and in it one of the characters pull out a gun and shoots a possessed person and later one of the other characters whispers to someone else "what does a man need with a gun like that?" It was really bad timing considering that he JUST saved everyone in the rooms lives...
