150 rounds is alot for a local IDPA match...the max round count per stage is 18 making that an 8 stage match...or a whole lot of strings per stage. An IPSC match will easily hit 150, but I'd have to offer that 150 is going to be the exception in IDPA.
But I'd bring 150 anyway...some clubs...
A Glock 27 in a thigh holster? Unless you're active-duty military or SWAT and that is part of your duty gear (and you plan on wearing the rest of the gear that goes along with it), that thigh holster is not IDPA legal. Go down to the local gunstore and get yourself a regular-type plastic belt...
Actually, it's already started. The city is on fire right now.
How far it spreads is anybody's guess. Don't forget that it's not just water out there - it's gasoline, oil, chemicals, etc. all mixed in with the water. When the water evaporates, who knows how flammable to remaining sludge...
The reason you shoot looters stealing TV's has nothing to do with the theft of the TV or the insurance money or getting killed for stealing.
It's because stealing TV's is Step 1 in the downward spiral into total anarchy. At the lower steps is rape, murder, armed gangs roaming the streets...
I agree, the guy didn't do anything wrong...you did. The guy was detailing the car after all...you didn't expect him to open the compartments?
I think you weren't thinking is what I think. You're damn lucky to have a detail guy who would leave the gun right where he found it and not call the...
Pat Rogers
Bill Rogers
(not that I've had a class with either...yet - but they both strike me as top-shelf instructors that are trustworthy and no-nonsense individuals)
Good that it's gun related, but I give low marks for overall effectiveness. Very busy, very hard to understand. Inset photos are extremely hard to decipher.
He lost sight of the goal, which should be to communicate effectively, rather than to just use photoshop...
Tatsuya Sakai. Airsoft is, basically, dryfire practice. the key to improvement is dryfire. Mr. Sakai put the truth to that in no uncertain terms.
He trains airsoft in Japan, comes to the states a couple weeks before the match and tunes into a gun that's kept here for him. Shows up on...
The bottom line is that open carry is legal, therefore this uy was harrased, period.
These situations become net positives if the officers involved are called on it. Then the local PD's understanding of the law increases and people's rights become better protected.
If they just go off and...

Oakland police say they have seen a graphic mob-beating video making the rounds on Internet file-sharing sites.
The posters...
You know you're too far left when not even Feinstein will stand by you :D
It's so sad it's funny. Here's hoping they've done something now that will wake up the sleeping masses out there...if there are any. Send the slimes packing.
Wow. That is absolutely pitiful. Here's her resume, or whatever you call it in academia:

Seriously, how some people can be so naive. It's unreal. Like she has absolutely no connection to reality. A professor. If this was written by a child it...
Yup. Interesting case, but not relevant to the ongoing search for a case where someone involved in a good shoot was convicted of wrongdoing because they had a modified gun or used handloaded ammo or anything along those lines.
The 'example' would have to be an otherwise good shoot turned...
The woman is just plain nuts. She's a raging foaming-at-the-mouth lefty who found a way to climb onto the top of the soapbox. Unfortunately, her son's body is under that box.
The whole thing is so dead-on stereotypical it's surreal. The media should be ashamed of themselves (as if that was...
Listen to Coronach. It's not just a semantic distinction. It's all about what the goal is. The goal is not, necessarily, to kill anyone. It's to stop them from doing whatever they were doing or about to do.
If they die, that's just tough. But that wasn't the point. The cops (and CCW'ers...
The people writing these 'guidelines' don't understand the basic concept in the first place. 'Shoot to stop' is still the appropriate action.
Now 'stop' requires a more immediate stop to the action, but it's still 'shooting to stop'.
If we wanted to "shoot to kill" we should poison the...
