First IDPA match!
150 rounds is alot for a local IDPA match...the max round count per stage is 18 making that an 8 stage match...or a whole lot of strings per stage. An IPSC match will easily hit 150, but I'd have to offer that 150 is going to be the exception in IDPA. But I'd bring 150 anyway...some clubs...- OF

A Glock 27 in a thigh holster? Unless you're active-duty military or SWAT and that is part of your duty gear (and you plan on wearing the rest of the gear that goes along with it), that thigh holster is not IDPA legal. Go down to the local gunstore and get yourself a regular-type plastic belt...- OF

Actually, it's already started. The city is on fire right now. How far it spreads is anybody's guess. Don't forget that it's not just water out there - it's gasoline, oil, chemicals, etc. all mixed in with the water. When the water evaporates, who knows how flammable to remaining sludge... -

The reason you shoot looters stealing TV's has nothing to do with the theft of the TV or the insurance money or getting killed for stealing. It's because stealing TV's is Step 1 in the downward spiral into total anarchy. At the lower steps is rape, murder, armed gangs roaming the streets... -

Student work at my schoole.
Good that it's gun related, but I give low marks for overall effectiveness. Very busy, very hard to understand. Inset photos are extremely hard to decipher. He lost sight of the goal, which should be to communicate effectively, rather than to just use photoshop...- OF

Airsoft: Good Practice

Proof of gun modifications used in court (found one!)
Yup. Interesting case, but not relevant to the ongoing search for a case where someone involved in a good shoot was convicted of wrongdoing because they had a modified gun or used handloaded ammo or anything along those lines. The 'example' would have to be an otherwise good shoot turned... -
