that is all good to hear. i am going to get an 84 for my wife also. i thought that it was the 84fs cheetah? nice looking gun and with tunners nod that seals it. not very often my wife wants a gun. her 642 is just too hard for her to shoot accuratly at medium distance.

i voted 642.i carry it when temps rise and clothes to conceal my 1911 lessen. first it is stainless and alloy so it is nice for daily carry here in az where it can reach 110 degrees. and you can carry it in your front pocket or wherever comfortably. accuracy with it is an issue out to 25yrds but...
i got my oct guns and ammo and they hav an artical on colts WWI 1911. i was wondering how you or anyone else felt about this gun. i like the straight msh. but i was curious about its parts if they are mim or what. the artical didn't say so i'm guessing that they are. does anyone know about how...
i saw that on american shooter. he said that the cycle rate on the 1911 is slower than he can pull the trigger. he shot both and was faster with his saa.

i would like to let everyone know about the help that 1911tuner and oldfuff gave me diagnosing my problem on my 1911. it was only disconnector click and now its gone. i'm new to the gun and they walked me trough it and were very encouraging and now i know my gun 100 times better and my problem...
im only 28 so i don't know how the legend started. i would agree that jeff cooper had alot to do with the legend. my grandfather was in the pacific in WWII and he shot 1911's and thompsons and he said the .45 worked well and he liked it. so thats what i was baseing my opinion on. and thats why i...
now thats good!!
i think it has alot to do with the design and the war record. of course i believe that the .45 part has alot to do with its war record.
