So I took the A2 sight post off of a PSA upper.

And now I'm installing a YHM rail type gas block. Small problem. The gas block roll pin (and the roll pin hole in the gas block tube) are smaller than the hole in the YHM gas block. Any suggestions?

    Curious About M&P 15-22

S&W's dedicated .22lR AR. Some are advertised with "threaded barrel". Don't they ALL have threaded barrels? All someone really needs to do is unscrew the muzzle brake and thread on a suppressor to any model of this rifle, right?

Here's a question that's probably been asked a thousand times before, but...

I'm in the market for a nice dependable all purpose wingshooting shotgun. Doves, ducks, maybe quail again one day. My budget? 1200.00 max probably. I just want a shotgun that handles well, is fairly light. Not particular as to what style. Over and under, semi-auto, whatever. Suggestions or...

Looking at buying an M&P 22 and adding a suppressor

Actually I already have the suppressor. The question I have is whether I can simply unscrew the brake from the rifle and screw the suppressor on? I realize I may have to add a couple of washers to the barrel to compensate for the extra thread length on the barrel. Anyone have any...

Removing a Stuck SKS Receiver Cover

Pull the pin outward? Crap. Of course. Now I remember. Pull the pin outward....and the cover came right off. I looked at several takedown videos on Youtube and none of them said anything about pulling outward on the pin. My fault though. Thanks

Removing a Stuck SKS Receiver Cover

Just bought a Chinese SKS Rifle. LOTS of cosmolene. I can't remove the receiver cover. I had a Yugo SKS that came apart easily. Is there a trick to taking this thing off?

Is there such a thing as overkill?

In an apartment......... you could easily use number 6, 7 1/2, or even 8. Think about it. It's very close quarters. A faceful of number 8's will do nicely and you probably won't hurt your neighbors.

    My letter to Skyline Chili

You've absolutely done the right thing. You stated very clearly your objections and carried through with your decision. I applaud you and others like you. Of course you know, Skyline doesn't really serve chili. Please come to Texas and have some real chili.

Wow. Are people REALLY paying these prices for firearms right now?

I've visited some internet auction sites today. Prices for even for older hunting rifles and shotguns are insane right now. Of course, if the hysteria lets off a little, I'm going to assume the prices will become more reasonable. Right?

An Excellent Short Article on "Gun Violence"

Found this on the Cato Institute's website. Surprisingly, it was originally written for "The Huffington Post", but regardles of where it comes from, it addresses questions that many of us have been asking for years. Among others: What has inner city crime related "gun violence" to do with a...

Powerful Video of Susannah Hupp on YouTube

I would advise anyone interested in 2nd Ammendment Rights to go to YouTube and watch this video of Susannah Hupp testifying to a congressional committee on gun violence on 2/2/2013. She was invited as a "victim" of gun violence, but her testimony completely backfired on the anti-gun...

    380 Is A Handful

The lighter the firearm....... the more you feel the recoil. Try a Brooks A-Grip. it's a wrap for the pistol stock that really helps with controlling a lightweight pistol.

    Bad shot

Dry fire, over and over and over... while maintaining your sight picture. Another suggestion: Don't shoot at 15 yards. Halve the distance. If you're training for self defense, the shorter distance may be a little more realistic. Just remember, the sight radius on your pistol is a LOT...

Bob Costas again, now on the Daily Show

First of All....... Welcome, Airbrush Artist. There really are some fine people who frequent this site. Having said this, I don't believe the Gentleman you referred to was criticizing You personally. He merely pointed out that the Quote you cited was factually incorrect. I've done the...

How long to send FFL to seller?

My FFL Guy...... sends a copy by FAX. Almost always the same day. They also charge 10.00 for a transfer to ANYONE. They really support our 2nd Ammendment Rights. They are absolutely reliable. If you're in the DFW area call Lewisville Pawn Shop. I don't think you'll be disappointed
