you can get an FNX off of gunbroker for less than $500 right now. Obviously i am biased (user name), over 4,000 rounds thru it and never had a single malfunction. I carry it sometimes and have used it for IDPA, all around great gun. Sig and CZ are also great choices IMHO.

I was just about to saw Adventure Outdoors as well, very good prices and fairly easy to get to even from airport area. You can take the perimeter (285) up to 75 and get off at Windy hill or just take 75 up from the airport area. I think 285 will be quicker.
