I acquired a Jennings J-22 and the sear is not engaging the firing pin. It moves up and down with the trigger, just never catches the firing pin. Any suggestions?

I picked up some brass at the range the other day thinking it was 308. Looks like 308, but says "RG 93". I tried to push out the primers with my 308 Resizing die and they will not push out. What is this ammo? Thanks in advance
