If it were me I would look at a cooper rifle. I think that a rifle like that could be passed down generation to generation and be appreciated.

I have the Rem 798 in 300 win mag. I love the rifle shoots nice tight groups at a 100 yds. I'm so impressed with Zastava rifles I'm looking the purchase another one in 270 for my deer rifle.:D

I would agree with RC leaving in a softcase is a bad idea. I left my marlin 336 in a hard case and the darn thing rusted on me.:cuss:

If I were you, I would pick up a copy of The Art of the Rifle by Jeff Cooper. You can pick this up at Amazon for 15 dollars paper back. If you can find a Project Apple Seed rifle course that would be even better. Master your 10/22 then look at a good bolt action rifle to start with. When you are...

I really wanted to try IMR 4350 but my lgs was out of it. He said it would be two weeks before they get some in . So I thought I would try H4350 it was also in my reloading manual. I thought I would run it through you guys first before I bought it. This will be my first rifle reloads.
