I just built a PSA dissy. Ordered from PSA a complete dissy upper with the mid length gas and then ordered lower and parts kit and bam thats all you need OTD for 700 or less
Im not a big "app" guy, only use text, call, email, weather. But that might be something useful to me. If you do, absolutely post its completion on here. Maybe PM me if you make something and want it tested out.
SKS is easier for NJ since you can buy anyone that does not have a detachable mag. Get the fixed 10rnd and your fine.
AK's cant have flash hider and only run <15rnd mags, no virt grip, just keep it plain and its fine.
For your exact gun you will be using it for, I would say not to be cheap. You have a nice gun, treat it right and get some good brass. Those "bear" ammo are for throwing rounds out of AK's and SKS and exc.

Have a friend who was looking to pick something up with no papers, long arm obviously. Lives in NJ and goes to shows in PA for his hunt all the time and finally came across something for the price. Now he bought a rifle legal in the state he resides, proved his residence with drivers license...
If you have the px4, without a doubt get the cx4..They are sharp looking guns.
I really love the cx4 and came inches from buying but couldn't justify spending 800 for a 9mm carbine. I would say you can get more for your money with a cheap hi point 995, I absolutely love mine, but since you...
Count me in on the 590a1 model. I have both the 870 and 590a1 and the 590 suits me better as a SD+HD gun. Duel extractors, smoother action, all metal parts where it counts, and easy release and safety locations. Plus, its a 9 shot.
^^There is no permit to "own" its directly stated you need the FID to "possess" any firearm within the state. Difference is so if an LEO stops someone and sees or notices a firearm in the vehicle, they should automatically be given a FID or they need to pull the person out. Apparently there is a...
Just a heads up here bud, you may have everything correct as for transportation requirements, however you NEED to have a FID card to possess ANY firearm in NJ, this even includes pellet rifles, thats how touchy the law is. To bring the gun into the state you need the FID or else you are...
