In the world! Shout out to JM Custom Kydex! I received their IWB for a 4” k-frame and cannot believe how easily it Carrie’s both my m19-4 and my 10-7 pencil barrel. I know it’s there but it really isn’t heavy and it doesn’t push into my body badly like some others have. I am truly satisfied with...
I have heard the drops are comparable on a 223 bdc reticle and a 308 reticle. I have a 223 bdc 1-8 mounted on a 308 Axis and zeroed for 100 yards. Is it reasonable to expect the actual 308 drops to be close to where the 223 stadia lines are in the scope?
I am currently looking at the 605 snub 357 and the 856 Defender 3” 38. I know they are two separate animals but am interested in what you fine people think. The orange night sight on the Defender isn’t clear when I hold it at arms length like the standard sight is, and I have j- frame leather...
So this may be a dumb question but I am at its end. A friend gifted me an American Enfield sporter that my gunsmith put irons on for me. The stock is an older (I believe Bishop) sporter with a raised comb. With the rear sight bottomed out and after installing a tall front, I am still the better...
Posted this on firingline.com. looking for the thoughts on this group as well if you don't mind.
I went to the range with a few different rounds today:
1. Hornaday Black 110 grain
2. Winchester Deer Season 150 grain
3. Remington OTFB 120 grain.
I used the remington to get the scope on paper...
So....I acquired a Manhattan Arms sxs that I have traced down to being made by (but not marked) Hunter Arms. Manhattan Arms (as far as I can tell) was a store brand(like sears or hardware stores). It's in great shape and handles 7 1/2s nicely. I happen to have a small amount of high base 6es and...
Hello all. I recently acquired a Bridgeport Charter Arms Undercover SN# 39XXX. It is my understanding that this is original production from the late 60s to early 70s, before they started having all kinds of QA problems.
My question(s) is/are:
1) If S&W J frames from the same time period...
to shoot 00 buck thru a full choke? I have a mossberg 835 that I intend to use to shoot coyote out to 65 yds. will this work or should I put the modified choke in it? I plan on going out tomorrow, so please do tell.
I have one and love it. Is there something wrong with the DALY production guns in this model? Or is it simply not selling well enough? Is there any place on the Web that this is published as fact and not I net BS? Thanks.
Stan
well... I took the Daly to my fave out of the way spot to practice-continue to break her in a little more...Boy do I like this gun! At 10 yards (I tol ya it was a SHORT range report) I was chewing the center out of a (8 1/2x11)B27 target silhouette. Also wreacked havoc on the miscellaneous evil...
Cuz I'm cheap and am partial to the leather holster I already have, I want to restiffen it w/o the use of medication!! Is it possible to save the old holster or do I gotta spend?:(
I have the six... I think I can get the SP in trade straight accross...is this a good deal? I have fired both and like em both...I can wait and get an SP another day if it comes down to it. Thanks.
who makes the smallest (most concealable) grips for the square butt. Wood is preferable, but I suppose if I can't find any decent wood ones, then rubber will have to do. I don't really want to do the Tyler t-grip either. Thanks fellas(and ladies).:D
