Shipped my 642 for warranty work a week and a half ago. Wonderingly how long it usually takes. The barrel had a small pit in it. Brand new (250 rds in one month), no lock.

It's inexpensive, about $125, its little, about the size of my wallet, and its super cheap to shoot... my pops has one, but the frame cracks by the chamber, and it has alot of problems around 200rds in one session. I can't one, w/out all the warranty work all the time. What are other options for...

It took some time, but the lead is out... I learned 3 things from this deal... 1) they call it lead fouling. 2) they call it pitting. 3) don't use that shoty blazer ammo anymore. Imma call s&w tomorrow.

Its like 90% clean. I can tell by the way the light reflects off said dent that it is a dent. But. I will keep pounding away until its 100% clean.

Well, its working pretty good. I've been working on it for about 20min. I now noticed the barrel has a dent/chip in it about half way down. In the barrel not outside. Could that be covered in the warranty?

It is a good design, and the design will last for many generations... the design... but the Glock will also last, it could use a make over though... this is not about looks, its about dependability. the Glock will fire in alot more rough conditions that a 1911...

I shot today, 50 rounds of some cheap blazer ammo, and 5 rounds of GDHP +P... put 200 through the g19 too, but anyways... I've been cleaning in right, and I've been working on the barrel for about 45 minutes, solvent, swobs,and brush. It isn't smooth in there, it looks all scratched and flaky...
