While not trying to discourage your dream bench building, you shouldn't need to be making adjustments with the LNL. You just leave the die in the bushing, right? These... http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1165277407/hornady-lock-n-load-die-bushings I have them on everything that goes into the...
I grabbed the Varget because it was available and it will also go into the M1 and Mosin. These will be match loads so I don't mind spending time on metering them. I'd also like to go with a heavier bullet but since I have 3k of these 55gr sp, I'll be loading them.
I appreciate all of the...
I see a lot of folks talking about 25-27 grains of Varget for 55 gr bullets. The Hornady manual I have shows from 22.8 to a max of 26.4. Is it even worth working up a load with less than say 24 grains? Will 22.8 have cycling problems? Be too slow for 200 yards?
I'm getting ready to work...
With the adjustable plug, wouldn't it still be possible to create too much pressure on the op rod? Do they come with instructions for starting settings to be used with normal 30-06 ammo?
We got a 10/22 and love it so much we got another one. One is basically stock except for Tech Sights and the other one has tons of aftermarket parts. I think it is this flexibility and the fact that it is still a great rifle that makes the 10/22 a great choice.
I would and in fact just did get a Rock River NM A4. I wanted a rifle to shoot high power with. The M1 is too expensive. My other AR was a 16" barrel and I can no longer focus sharply on the front sight plus it would need different parts to make it a service rifle. Instead of buying new...
Do you intend to draw the holster from your pocket? I guess I'm at a loss as to how the magazine being on your strong side works or rather how it could work well. I too have a kydex pocket holster and like it also. It's an Alabama holster.
Something with an adjustable objective or AO is really nice. This lets the scope be used at close ranges like 25 yards without skewing the image due to parallax.
I have a PF9 and love it. I bought the extended mag adapter from Kel-tec so it is 8+1 and I still pocket carry it. I know some folks have had problems but this one has been 100% with any ammo I've had in it.
I used to have a Steyr M9 pistol. One of the first models and it shot very well. Problem was you could barely find any accessories for it. I hated that about that gun so I ended up getting a Glock and couldn't be happier. Any time I want to get something or try something with it, I can...
Right. The TSA says they can be in the same container but each airline can have their own policy.
Also you'll need those TSA approved "burly" padlocks.
Very nice job on the case though. I like it for even if you're not flying.
