Ruger LC9 or 380 with a magazine that has a spot for a 3rd finger are great options. I also have very large hands and my EDC is an MP40c with the 8rd mag in it with another for backup. G19 is probably too big for a backup, Springfield emp or Kimber solo, cdp maybe?

valnar, the glock is a must have in my opinion, but you could substitute it for any 9mm pistol.

Once you practice with it a good bit and get used to the DAO it's a great gun. Mine has been 100% reliable and makes for a great CCW. The PF9 is much more comfortable in my hand than say a G26 or a XDM subcompact. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, especially at just over $200.

Yes, they are very similar to something like a gun club hull. Ribbed, plastic 1-piece basewad, 6 point crimp, etc. I think the Rios are made in france by Cheddite. I should probably use that load.

NIB Springfield XDM 9 Bitone. Shot it at 10 yards out of a gun vise.......9" group. Took out my CZ75 BD and blew out the 10 ring offhand at 15 yards. I brought the XDM back and traded it on an M&P VTAC w/ trijicon sights. Might be a while before I buy another springer.
