From what I've heard from the shops, they feel in essence that CDNN is a wholesaler trying to sell directly to the public at wholesale prices. Not every shop feels this way, just the ones I happen to go to. That's why I'm trying to find a new shop/dealer.
Thanks for the replies.
Rileys refuses to handle transfers from CDNN.
I will try the others you mentioned. I'm just looking for someone reputable in southern NH to handle a transfer.
Best
Hi guys,
I hope I'm posting in the right area. Does anyone know of a good FFL in southern NH willing to perform transfers. I'm trying to purchase a firearm from CDNN and my regular gunstore refuses to do business with them.
Thanks in advance.
Psyprofessor,
I noted this same thing and posted it a few years ago. No one seemed to care or notice at the time. I completely agree with you. I do not trust the safety notches.
When the hammer is in the safety notch, only a little pull on the hammer is required to get the cylinder to...
Hi Guys,
If you're Unit fans, you should read Eric Haney's book Inside Delta Force. It details alot about the selection process and how mentally tough and disciplined these guys are. The last episode also came out of the book. He writes about a mission where he hunted down and killed a...
Hi Guys,
I have an ASP. I got one of the last ones made in the late 90's with a letter from ASP to prove it. It's a highly customized S&W 39. Very reliable with a lot of nice features that you don't see on production pistols or even on many custom ones.
While cool looking, the...
Hi,
I have a Pony Pocketlite bought in 1997. Not sure of going prices now. Very nice pistol and quite reliable.
There have been durability issues though. The stainless slide is quite soft and the slide release is peening the slide release notch on mine. I have heard other reports of...
Hi,
I just got an OM Blackhawk .357 that I'd like to use for a .44 Special conversion. While I thought I went over it pretty well, I just noticed now that the trigger spring plunger at the rear of the trigger guard behind the trigger is crooked. It seems to work fine, but is canted somewhat...
Thanks Again Guys,
I ended up drilling the holes using a cheap hammer drill and a Bosch hammer drill bit. I also ended up using 3/8 in. x 3 3/4 in. Red Head wedge anchors. I tried the 2 1/4 but they were too short. Thanks for the advice a1abdj.
I did not bother bolting the top of the...
Thanks for the advice guys,
The basement is actually thinly carpeted so I plan on drilling and installing the bolts, then cutting slits in the carpet, and installing the safe over the carpet. I went to rent a hammer drill, and saw some cheap ones for sale for just a little more than the...
Hi Guys,
I've read posts in the past about bolting safes to the floor. I would like to bolt my safe down to my concrete basement floor with 3/8" x 2 1/4" Red Head concrete sleeved anchor bolts. I plan on drilling the 3/8" holes about 2 1/2" deep so if I move, I can hammer the bolts flush...
Hi guys,
Thanks for the input. It's a 3 inch Model 13-3. I took another look at it. It appears unfired. No carbon marks around the cylinder front. Very faint bolt line on the cylinder. No residue on the topstrap. The only flaw on the finish was some blueing wear on the cylinder from...
