45 ACP & Green Dot with Tula mag primers

So Dad and I went out yesterday so he could get used to the Witness Poly compact 45 I gave him. He did very well. I tried out Green Dot with Tula primers and a 220gr Semi wad cutter in my full size Witness. Shot great fed great and accurate. Cleaner burning than the 231 load I have been using...

The reason I thought of doing it was my wife said the blast was out of this world and she was right even from the shooters perspective.Well I am happy to say that it worked it also helped muzzle climb. I...

    My tumbler media concoction

First let may say this I work at a wire manufacturing plant and the insulator we use to weld wire together is ceramic. So I brought home a bunch of used insulators and mixed them with rice. Added 2 table spoons of dawn. all in my Midway Tumbler. Threw in about 90 pieces of once fired GI...

RL 17 has any one used

It in a 308 Win and if so how did it perform. I read the web site info and it is supposed to be a control burn powder like 4350. IIRC I had this posted in the rifle forum instead of here.

    Range report Saiga 308

This thing will actually shoot. If I did my part with the open sights I could easily hold a 2 inch group at 100 yards. Some groups were nice 1 inch groups then the occasional flyer would open it up. It did like the 165 and 168 grain loads better I ran low on new ammo so I grabbed the ammo for...

Savage Model 64 22LR Auto loader

Ammo recommendations. So the wife and I bought one it shoots great. Some jams when dirty fairly accurate well at 25m with a 3x9. But we went a head and put a 6X24 target scope on it for shooting at 50m and 100m. We like to challenge ourselves at distance. The question we have is what ammo...
