hey guys placed an order for powder end of february invoiced the 6th of this month. I never got any shipping updates or anything. No emails, call, nothing. Guess what was sitting on my door today when i woke up? Iwould say its gonna be about a month or so until it arrives from the day you placed the order. The dates on their website only get updated once a week or so.
Lucky you, they are over two weeks late for me, and they have charged my card, issued a tracking number three days ago, yet no shipment as of yet. Beginning to regret this choice.....
Sorry to hear that. Give them a few days and give them a call. They are really great people. Theie business is just a little small and has been overrun as of late. They will make it right as best they can if you contact them. They always have for me.
I placed an order for primers and powder on 1/14/13 and I received it 2/5/13. Their estimate of shipping date plastered at the top of their website was spot on for me. Came packaged well. No complaints. Will definitely order from them again when needed.
Placed my order on 2/8/13 and received two days ago. Pretty much spot on regarding schedule with their stated time-line per their web page.
Placed an order last Friday for bullets shown as in stock and received an e-mail within 30 minutes stating that they were not in stock after all. I ordered before they could update their ordering information to show out of stock status. Received another call with apology. No apologies needed!
Powder Valley are good folks and I've purchased many times from them. Never disappointed in the service, especially since they are overwhelmed at present.
over the past few weeks some of my pv orders have been coming in, 10k winchester small pistol primers, kegs of unique, 2400 231 and 296 have all came. they are getting products in and you can hear about them first by liking them on facebook. ive been watching them very closely, when they put up the berrys bullets earlier this month they put them up for 15-30 minutes, then pull them off the site. they are trying very hard not to oversell and cause people to not be able to get products. it seems obvious when they put stuff up in stock on the site they get absolutely slammed and they have been putting up and pulling down items in an effort not to get overwhealmed by orders. i know to the average shooter here they are just mad they cant get any componenent but i think pv is absolutely doing the best they can and im going to remember them very posititively for it.
They need to come "like us" on THR so I don't have to be subjected to Facebook. Reaching out to reloaders on Facebook? Doesn't exactly sound like the target market! Man, I must be getting old!
I had planned for months to do a bulk order(10k primers, 5lb powder) shortly after xmas when that extra cash rolled in, but several proverbial turds in the punch bowl made it difficult and even then I barely was able to snag tula small rifle primers(wanted spp) and some tula lpp. They were out of stock xmas day, in stock the 26th and out again on the 27th.
