Just saw on the tube that a Sanford, Michigan gun shop, Joe's Guns, was robbed of 120 rifles and shotguns plus 80 pistols. Midland county police are working with the ATF to find them. Hope they do.
Which do you think is better and why? I have both. The FN holds two more rounds and can be topped off without a problem, something you can't do with the M1. The M1 is more....robust.

While impressive, placement is important. Notice that it was placed at the side of the watermelon. The melon wasn't vaporized as stated in the video. It probably suffered a lot of damage, but it was blown to right off camera. That said, it still can give information to the wrong people.
My wife, who isn't a "gun-person" but thinks if you want you should be allowed to own a weapon, surprised the heck out of me by getting me a M-1D Garand in June and kept it hid from til Christmas. I think I'll keep her.

I was at my local gun shop this morning to check on a couple of things and pick up some ammo. They told me that, because of the war in Iraq, ammo is getting hard to come by as most is being made for the military.:confused: Has anyone else heard this?
