I just bought a 1377 I have a ruger air hawk haven't airgunned in a couple years so this weekend I made a trap out of a cardboard box, towel and rubber mulch. stops the pellets from the 1377 easily. haven't tried the air hawk on it yet. I can use this trap in the house and the only noise is...

Bought myself a bb gun for 67th birthday?

bro-in-law has a old 760 pumpmaster that has been outside on the porch for well over 10 years. barrel is rust pitted, stock is cracked and duct-taped together. still works, still shoots well enough

So, my son watched The Dark Tower...

I have all of his books in epub up to his book 11.29.63 (which, I thought was a very good read) one thing I liked was his reoccurring use of Flagg as the bad guy. Dark Tower, Eye of the Dragon, The Stand

So, my son watched The Dark Tower...

yea, the ending pretty much blew chunks. Stephen King's accident where he nearly died (that was in the Dark Tower books) was one of the reasons why the early books were so "collectible". Up to that point, the books were good, but nothing earth-shattering

Bought a new Traditions Pursuit G4

Lots of fun! I picked up a Vortex Strikerfire couple years back from Cabelas ($100 less than their usual sale price, a steal) Then I added a Vortek Diamondback HP 2x8 glass usually shoot 90-100gr 777 or BH for a 250gr barnes, move up to 100-110gr powder for the 300gr sabot. Depends on the...

just bought my first flintlock rifle kit!

No pic :( I upgraded to win10 on my tablet. broken apps and programs wouldn't work. went back to 8.1, where stuff actually works. Wouldn't want 8.1 on a non-tablet though

Let's talk about modern inline muzzleloaders

yesterday USPS delivered my CVA Optima V2 inline pistol with a 4 MOA red/green dot sight from muzzle-loaders.com Need to clean it, locktite the sights and take it out to play. The checkered grip molding is a bit rough, but normal wear/tear will fix that up. locks up tight. breechplug takes...

    The THR 1851/1860 Club

Had the '60 for a few years now. Recently acquired another pietta. Haven't taken her out yet. Next on the list is new nipples from track of the wolf
  14. W

How can I remedy this problem?

I believe Mike Bellevue changes the nipples on all of his guns with stainless or the brass/alloy nipples from Track of the Wolf. I seem to recall that from one of his videos

Let's talk about modern inline muzzleloaders

I have yet to see lead-free roundball or maxi. No ML season here, just ML special draw zones. Must be lead-free. 1x scope with permission only. The way mine is setup I can only use it during regular season. I like traditional and inlines, but favor the inline more. Much easier to clean. Much...

    help advise on two muzzeloaders

Opinion. Thats the only real difference. A smokeless muzzleloader (i.e. http://www.badbullmuzzleloaders.com/index.htm ) is still a muzzleloader. Personally I would rather get a centerfire than one of those but to each their own.

    help advise on two muzzeloaders

A muzzleloader is a muzzleloader. Traditional or inline, does not matter. Type of action does not define a muzzleloader. Ignition source does not define a muzzleloader. Easier to mount a scope on a inline. Better choice of protective coating. Easier to clean. Can use any of the substitute...
