    25 Internet Yards

There are those who can, and those who can not. There are those who will, and those who will not. There are those who will try, and those who will not. There are those with limits. and those who have none. These differences will not go away, but the shooting sports are all about having fun...

    Lee Classic Turret question(s)

I think it is not short stroking the arm/ram. I have over 15,000 rounds through mine and have not had to replace it. If you are going to rotate by hand then raise the ram to clear the spiral index rod.

    How Good Is Good?

Agree Steve C. A trip to Camp Perry with the ever changing weather conditions (and always the wind} is definitely an eyeopener to the uniniated. Sure there are match grade pistols and ammo. But, shooting 2650+ out of 2700 possible points in those conditions is nothing short of incredible...

How important is 25 yard accuracy with your edc?

A lot of people. Long time shooters and especially new shooters. Add into the mix that every thing is fluid is a self defence situation and everyone is moving. Most likely you are only going to get a head shot at someone behind cover. If you only practice at close range you are at a...

How important is 25 yard accuracy with your edc?

Let's see. parking lot...one guy close, the seven yard senerio, ok, you got him. But, there is rarely one, probably two or three and they have shotguns. You have nowhere to go except hide behind your car and you can't hit a barn outside of 10 yards. What is it that some will not back up and...

    Thank you

It's not just that he and others who are knowledgeble offer their time and trouble to share that knowledge, but they are kind to newbies asking the same questions they have answered over and over again. I was a newbie and I thank them again.

Do you still have your first gun?

Yep, I still have it. Mossberg bolt action 410 three shot magazine. Came with two screw on chokes, mod and full. Christmas 1956 if I remember. I was dissappointed because I was wishing for a 20 ga double. Anyway, I took it out after lunchand took a few squirels and still kinda...

    Has anyone tried lucky13 bullets?

They are great. Ask for sample packs if you like. I have loaded and shot several thousand in 9mm and 45. Also really good people to work with.

    Mountain Lions and Guns

My best friend and I traveled out west for years. Our favorite place was is SW CO in the headwaters of the Saguache. We flyfished half a day and rode the horses half a day. We had seen fresh cat tracks for three day on the stream, and on the fourth day we were deciding who was going upstream...

    Precisiondelta or Berry's - 9mm

I mostly shoot hardcast lead now, but I much prefer PD fmj to anybody's plated. I have loaded and shot maybe 5,000 PD,s and I love them. I still have a lot in 9mm and .45 to load.

How many carry a knife along with their primary

Always! I keep a machete,"razor sharp"on the dash of my truck. If I am in a parking lot, I never keep the passenger window below a half. My window is most tmes down if I am waiting . My door locks are on, always, If someone tries to come through my window, I find it easier to grab my large...

Kids and Guns in 1957 Pic

Great thread. I remember when I was 16, I got to fix up my dad's old Willis jeep. Used to drive it to school every day. During "bird season", my setter Dan would go with me every day. Everyone knew him and took care of him throughout the day. My 12 gauge Fox Sterlingworth double was in the...
