I have an older Glock 2nd gen. It needs some TLC, a refinish, and hopefully a gen 3 frame. Im told you can sent a gun back to glock and they will change some springs, and refinish the gun, is this right? Also, is there any way to get a 3rd gen frame put on?

There is a deff difference between a vented gas tube and no gas tube at all.

I would have to disagree. I dont think there would be enough pressure to push the gas piston back without the gas tube "holding" the gas in a way where it could push the piston. The gas would move the piston a little then dissipate to the side (90 deg) from the face of the piston instead of...

It does have a real use. Someone gave me one a while back, I just stick my mags in there so I know where they are. No more missplaced mags. And Im always willing to be RAMBO for Halloween. Seriously though, the thing is probably good for getting you shot in a real life situation...
