Yup, I've got a win 94ae, this was the very first rifle I bought as soon as I was old enough to buy guns myself. Got it in 1989 at KMart, I remember it well had to put it on layaway couldn't put the $200 it cost together all at once.
I would recommend using a separate ductless a/c system within the vault so only a small penetration will be made. If you insist on using a ducted system have your contractor price out insulated steel ducts for all of your basement to eliminate the possibility of condensation on the ducts and...
Just a little off topic but, are these grips that much nicer than the hogue grips currently offered with the new revolvers? If so in what way are they better or should I say different?
+1 on the Rossi, I have the .357 version in stainless to accompany my 4 5/8 Ruger NV and GP100. I really like it and with a very few mods. It is a very nice shooter.
If you're not totally set on semi-auto you might consider a s&w 642 for a fine pocket carry piece. I sometimes carry mine in the pocket with an uncle mike's #3 or on the ankle in a galco ankle holster. It has actually become my preferred firearm for a small carry weapon. As an aside I used to...
I carry 642 with no lock. I must say Tony those grips would be a most excellent addition to a satin finish, are they available from a retailer or did you make them?
I sure do likes me my 642 no lock, hammerless. I've found it wears great on the ankle in a Galco or in an uncle Mike's pocket holster. Great gun and I won't be caught without it, ever.
My vote would be for a gp100 either 3 or 4", personally I have a 4", it will soak up the recoil from heavy .357 mag loads, but can also shot the tamer .38 special that feel like the recoil of a .22.
After many years I finally let my membership only for the fact that in the gulag I like to call NY where I live we can no longer purchase mail order ammo delivered to the house and that is the majority of buying I did with SG. I still buy some small things now and again, but it doesn't warrant...
CZ223, my thoughts exactly on the vaquero. Today as a matter of fact while riding my horse I was carrying my .45acp Vaquero in bright stainless in a chest rig, this I have found to be the most easily accessible means of carry.:)
I have a 16" Rossi in .357, due to the pistols. I really enjoy shooting it. I would imagine any of the 3 mentioned would be a fine choice though, especially if you reload.
