RCMODEL - I'm from South Africa, the 7x64 is a very nice weapon to use in the bush or kalahari, shooting Zebra, Springbuck, Kudu and Impala. We use Somchem S365 powder.
I've been reloading 7x64 before without crimping the bullet in the case , now i saw in the instructions of my RCBS die that there is a crimping function. Will crimping make me shoot different and will my cases still withstand cracking?
need help
I am using RCBS die for my 7x64, now i want to find out about the crimping. Is it even necessary for crimping the bullet in the case? Would be grateful if someone can advise me.
